I would prefer better spawn time for Mcru and tiered Mcru. I can see the issue but at the same time it seems like utilizing a vehicle slot like this is a pretty heavy sacrifice. Personally though I really think that mCRU's should outshine uplinks in every way. It also seems like that would give a solid purpose to things like the upcoming DHAV to provide that massive AV. Well,if we don't take in account bugs, MCRU is really worthy in armor vehicles, it provides 3 different benefits:
- Tanked and mobile uplink
- WP farm
- Protection from AV when mercs spawn in.
The third point is a bit based on luck, but a teammate that spawn in and kill/stop the AVer is 100% more worthy than every other module. I think sacrifice to fit that module is well rewarded.
Agree on Mcru should outshine links.

Fitting the mcru = less room for hp, also they're quite expensive to fit.
a swarm of the same tier as the vehicle will probably down it without a reload (that isn't MASSIVE av...) There's already cru's that you can't destroy without AV weapons and they have a lot more hp.
You can still hack the vehicle, just as you could hack the cru.
You can place spawn uplinks on rooftops and no one really cares... A moving mcru would be more of a hassle than one parked on a rooftop.
Your team should also have vehicles on it... This will give them another target to shoot at, one that's worthwhile, instead of 5wp uplinks.
Instead of thinking 'I don't have vehicles, so you shouldn't have an advantages over my dropsuit.' Feel free to consider the people on your team that are using vehicles... It's each individuals choice what they want to use. If your team doesn't have a HMG with a Logi, you're at a disadvantage. If you don't have vehicles filling certain roles, you should also be at a disadvantage.
Team composition needs to count for something, rather than the, 1v1 equilibrium that would make it pointless to use anything other than a dropsuit + rifle combo, everyone seems to want on the forums.
On armor vehicles Mcru fits pretty well. I stay on both sides of the fence with a vehicle alt, still i don't feel Mcru should be active if there is no one in the vehicle for the reasons above.
A note on hacking vehicles with Mcru: even if your team can spawn in them after they have been hacked, the WP for that spawn goes to the possessor of the vehicle, even if he's on the other team.
